DLT 40/80GB Tape
Backup Drives
DLT tape drives have been used for
backup, archiving, disaster recovery and network storage for mid-range
systems since the early 1990s. The DLT8000LVDi-PM
(internal model) and DLT8000LVDe-PM
(external model) from Pinnacle Micro offers performance (12 megabytes
per second backup speed) at an attractive
price point ($1299 for internals and $1399 for externals).
The 80 Megabytes (80 MB) of backup capacity is suitable for a
wide range of applications, including midrange computers, network
servers, high-end workstations, and mainframe environments running UNIX,
NetWare, Microsoft Windows NT, LINUX, or proprietary operating systems.
